Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 ½ cups flour
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Toppings of choice (e.g. pepperoni, veggies)
Method of making
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water
and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the
yeast mixture. Knead until the dough is smooth. Let it rise for one hour.
- Preheat oven to 475°F
(245°C)
- Roll out the dough into a circle. Place on
greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread pizza sauce over the dough, top
with cheese and your chosen toppings.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is
golden and the cheese is melted.
